Defining 'Richness' (1525 hits)

What does being rich mean to you?

Does it mean having lots of money? If so, how much? Being able to afford homes and cars? Other material things? Having a beautiful family? Peace at mind? Security? Or is it something else?
There is not a person besides yourself that can say if any of these answers are right or wrong. You are the one and only person that can determine the things that will make you feel that your life is full of richness.

You have to look within to discover the things that you really want from life and understand the qualities that these things represent. Always remember that these are the things that make you feel rich, and the qualities or characteristics that define richness in your life are determined by what really makes you happy.

Being rich to me is simple. good health, and loving people around you. Regardless of your economic level or geographic position, if you have access to those two things you are quite rich. For you have a good life, and where there is life there is hope.
Hope can lead to anywhere, even places of gold.

I agree wholeheartedly with Monk…Without the love of family, true friends and spiritual wealth you have that feeling of emptiness, a deficiency of the soul…if you will; even if you have a house on top of the hill with multiple cars in the garage.

I AM “RICH” in SOUL, SPIRIT, HEALTH and in LOVE!

To me being rich is getting to know God as your Father. Understanding his plan for your life and accepting the liberty he gives to you to fulfill a purpose so rich that it influences the life of others to aspire to reach their own goal and potential. I believe at the end of a such a life you can look back even at the mistakes in life and see progress and you've grown into a person you were always created to be.

I say all the time that I'm rich... maybe not financially but in love and family my wealth is abundant.
Everyone looks at things differently in life. Some look at things from a technical prospective others from a spiritual/mental prospective I'm one of those spiritual/mental people when it comes to things like this.
