This blog series is simple. It has one goal, to get us through petition to improve the quality of certain black enterprises.
This is about cable and television.
African Americans have three stations available in the new york city metropolitan area.
TVOne
Americas Black Family Channel
and another whose name i forget.
Now,since TVOne is the most popular
let us focus on that station
What is missing in their lineup?
science fiction
cartoons
sports
the questions are,
How do we get these aspects into that station?
Second, once a method to advance these stations is decided, what should we propose to implement science fiction, cartoons, and sports?
my idea is below, please share yours
i am thinking the best idea is to develop content for science fiction and cartoons as promos and present them. For sports I think we have to petition.
Now, as to what to do.
I think for science fiction and cartoons, we have to develop our own stories and then get a promo made and then present it to TVOne to see if they will implement it.
That cut and dry.
Whoever is interested compose and edit the stories, then put all participating parties names on the final versions.
Then, find financing to make a promo and send the promo to TVOne.
As for sports,
only two black owned teams exists in the top tier of any sports leagues.
DC United and the Charlotte Bobcats.
We need to petition TVOne to carry every game of both teams or at least some games for both teams
