Students at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, Tallahassee Florida have began the process to establish the EDUCATE or DIE FAMU Chapter. Kendrick Jackson, the President of the chapter started with a Facebook blog. Within 2 hours more than 200 students logged onto the blog. If you are interested please go to FACEBOOK put EDUCATE or DIE in the search window and the information page will appear. Kendrick informed me that he has requested an application for the chapter to become an approved school organization but was told that there is a moratorium on campus organizations. He stated that they will not stop until the chapter is approved. He is setting up the first interest meeting in September and they are presently selecting officers. He has arranged meeting with Florida State University Black Student Association to get them to start a EDUCATE or DIE Chapter. A BIG CONGRATULATIONS to Kendrick and the rattlers.
