Work Smart, Not Hard (68 hits)

The members of this network might be wondering what this has to do with the Voices and Visions concept, it has to do with cooperating with one another and utilizing this platform to meet people that can assist you with these voices and visions. Here is the place for cooperation and assistance.

It's Friday and the beginning of a long weekend for the majority of us. We have the opportunity to get one extra day of rest for an entire year of hard work.

There are some of us who don't look at it that way, because they refuse to work hard at all. They make each moment count by finding ways to make those hours, minutes, and seconds work for them. That's called working smart, not hard.

There is no specific way of working smarter, but we always see more progress when are able to finish one thing and get to the next. If you can find a way to get your job done without struggling or in a fraction of the time, do so.

A few ways of working smarter are:

Delegating - Finding someone else to do something that is not absolutely necessary for you to do.

Network - Communicating with other individuals. You might meet a person that knows how to do something in half the time that it would take you to do it. This same person might have something that needs to be done that you can do in half the time it takes him or her.

Cooperating - Taking on tasks as a group instead of an individual. Two heads are usually better than one, so four hands are usually better than two, and eight hands are better than four. You get the picture.

Those are just a few ways to work smarter, but there are many more. By all means, take a moment to find those ways. It's worth the time and effort.

Have A Wonderful Weekend and Don't Work Hard Trying,

SG

"The whole secret of freedom from anxiety over not having enough time lies not in working more hours, but in the proper planning of the hours."

-- Frank Bettger

We need to commit time to doing the right things for ourselves, and only we can judge what’s right for us. We need to clearly know what we want, and we need to believe we can have it. Having goals in mind, we can avoid the trap of busyness and get right down to business. Efficiency is not nearly as important as effectiveness.

For fulfillment, we need to take our lives off autopilot. We need to consciously decide what we will and will not do, moment by moment. We need to give ourselves the space, support and freedom to be proactive in choosing how we live each day.

"Learn to use ten minutes intelligently. It will pay you huge dividends."

-- William A. Irwin
