He is in custody," Officer Green, with the county sheriff's office, told USA TODAY. He said the booking officer handling Zimmerman was still filing his report and he had no additional information.

The county jail states that Zimmerman "may not be bailed."

The Orlando Sentinel reported it was not clear what happened or what crime he's accused of committing.

WESH-TV reported that Zimmerman was accused of domestic violence by a girlfriend in the unincorporated area of Apopka. The station said sheriff's deputies responded to a 911 call, and that several sheriff's office vehicles were at the home.

THANKS LOV...THE SITUATION ROOM@CNN CARRIED THE SHEIRFF'S PRESS CONFERENCE LIVE AND IT IS SO INITERESTING HE DID EVERY THING IN HIS POWER TO NOT TALK ABOUT HOW ZIMMERMAN HAD POINTED A LONG RIFLE AT HER...AND WENT SO FAR AS TO SAY, "ZIMMERMAN WAS NOT ARMED WHEN THEY MADE ENTRY INTO THE HOMEHE HAD BARRICADED HISSELF IN...SHOULD HIS NOT COMING OUT WHEN ORDERED TO DO SO COUNT AS RESISTING ARREST...

AGAIN THE SHERIFF MADE SURE TO SAY, "ZIMMERMAN DID NOT RESIST ARREST...
D-U-H...HIS FORMER ATTORNEY HAS ALREADY SAID HE WOULD NOT BE REPRESENTING ZIMMERMAN..."I" WONDER WHY ?????????????????????????????LOL!!!(SMILE)
