WHY DO WE GO OUT OF OUR WAY TO REJECT OUR HISTORY? NOT EVEN INTERESTED INIT COMING FROM OUR POSITIVE POINT OF VIEW? oH WELL, MAYBE SOME DAY WE WILL BE INTERESTED IN THE MAKE PUP OF OUR bLACK FAMILY THAT WE STILL REFUSE TO ALLOW TO BE CHANGED TO THIS DAY. (SMILE)

oUR WOWEN WERE ALWAYS TREATED AS AN EQUAL AND IN MANY WAYS MORE IMPORTATANT TO THE FAILY THAN THE FATHER...THE FATHER HAD ONLY ONE SPECIALTY GETTING THE MEAT EVERYTHING ELSE NEEDED THE FEMALE PROVIDED. tHE FATHER AND OLDER SONS MAY BE GONE HUNTING FOR A FEW DAY WHICH MEANT THE MOTHER HAD TO HAVE FOOD AT ALL TIMES, SHE DUG ROOTS, GRASSES, FRUITS, FOOD. SHE KEPT THE HOME CLEAN AND THE CHILDDREN CLELAN AND ACTIVE AND ENTERTAINED...YES THE WOMEN WERE THE MAIN STAY OF THE FAMILY AND CARE TAKEER OF THE VILLEGE.

EVEN EHEN THE MEN CAME HOME FROM AN UNSUCCESSFUL HUNG THEY STILL HAD TO EAT. NOT TO WORRY MOM, AND THE NEIGHBORS WOULD ALL GET TO GATHERAND COME UP WITH A FEAST FOR ALL. THE VILLEGE WAS FAMILY, IT WAS FRIENDS AND EVEN MORE IMPORTANT IT WAS SELF SUSTAINING AD SAFE AND SECURE MOST OF THE YEAR.

A HARD VERY REWARDING LIFE TO BE LIVING IN. NO HUSSULL AND BUSSULL OR ALARM CLOSK JUST KNOW WHEN IT WAS TIME TO SLEEP AND TIME TO WAKE. tHEY REMAINED IN BLANCE WITH THE LAND AND THE LAND PROVIDED ALL THAT THEY NEEDED....BOY i WIOLD LIKE TOLIVE LIKE THAT FOR A SMALL TIME AWAY FROM THE HUSSUL AND NOISE AND GO, GO, GO.

So glad you stoped by my daughter, because this has a lot to do with the ideology of M. garvy and teh original ideology of teh NOI and also why the Pople says Christianity is in deep do, do and Islam being the fastest growing religion...

and yes my child, those racist in Arizona who wants to ban ethnic study are right on target to trying to save the powers taht be from our BIA history not taught on CNN.(otfl my proud black ao) (smile)
