This is a free workshop series for the communities in Cleveland, Ohio.
Cleveland, Ohio – A community was scattered and dreams were stolen by alleged serial killer Anthony Sowell who reportedly took the lives of 11 young women too soon. As the pain subsides, the village will prepare to heal and “Get Back To Being You.”
”Back to Being You,” a free 12-week personal motivational series held 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. April 7th – July 7th at Covenant Community Church of Cleveland, 3342 E. 119th (Kinsman Avenue) will help to spark motivational change in a community rocked by tragedy.
“We need to encourage and show women and men that they possess the strength to be greater than themselves,” said Life Management Coach and workshop sponsor Rev. Dr. LaDonna Blaylock. “This project is important because it takes all of us back to the basics.”
The workshop series will feature an appearance by Senator Nina Turner in addition to various life coaches, business professionals and community leaders. Early workshop registration is required and can be confirmed via phone at 216-502-0082. Volunteers are needed and donations are also being accepted.
“We need to take our communities back!,” said Pastor Lawrence W. Boone of Covenant Community Church of Cleveland who is providing space for the workshop series.
Goddesses Blessing Goddesses is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization serving communities throughout Cuyahoga County. The mission of the organization is to provide education and useful information that will place emphasis on providing family peer coaching, mentoring, and quality referrals and resources. We will promote self-esteem, and share enlightenment in the area of self-sufficiency, freedom, and healthy lifestyles through guidance.
