Medical Equipment Maintenance Technician at Kadlec Regional Medical Center

Under the direction of the Facilities Manager performs a variety of skilled inpatient bed and stretcher maintenance including but is not limited to the following; safety checks, quickly troubleshooting inoperable beds, managing house wide bed inventory, maintain detailed service logs, urgent/emergent bed repair, preventative maintenance, replacement part inventory management for multiple models and brands of beds. Other duties can be assigned at Facilities Managers discretion.

Shift Details:

• Full time, Day Shift, 40 working hours weekly

Required Qualifications:

• Upon request: Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional information.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree A building trade or related discipline from an accredited educational institution.



• 2 years Working in a hospital setting or 5 years experience servicing inpatient beds.



• Kadlec is willing to train under a retention and contract agreement.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
