Join us!</p><p></p><p><b>Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li><p>Participate in design, development, and implementation of systems engineering activities, to include Linux Red Hat technical support, systems programming, and platform capabilities.</p></li><li><p>Handle complex Linux engineering and analytical tasks and activities.</p></li><li><p>Assist in day-to-day installation, governance/compliance remediation, maintenance, unplanned outages, and issue resolution work.</p></li><li><p>Handle ad-hoc analytical tasks and activities.</p></li><li><p>Code solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements.</p></li><li><p>Design, develop, and modify architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while ensuring principal architecture integrity is maintained.</p></li><li><p>Execute story refinement, define requirements, and estimate work necessary to realize a story through the delivery lifecycle.</p></li><li><p>Perform spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas.</p></li><li><p>Automate manual release activities.</p></li><li><p>Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites (integration, regression, performance).</p></li><li><p>Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Required Skills & Experience:</b></p><ul><li><p>Master's degree or equivalent in Applied Computer Science, CIS, MIS, Engineering (any), or related: and</p></li><li><p>3 years of experience in the job offered or a related IT occupation.</p></li><li><p>Must include 3 years of experience in each of the following:</p></li><li><p>Designing and developing production ready software using web, cloud and distributed technologies including Spring Boot, Microservices, and CI/CD cloud deployment;</p></li><li><p>Designing and developing new proof of concept projects to enhance current software systems to handle increased traffic and larger datasets with SQL, SFTP, Network Data Mover(NDM), and Containers;</p></li><li><p>Enhancing and maintaining high traffic intranet web apps using Java and cutting edge Devops technologies including Jenkins and Ansible;</p></li><li><p>Using Java/J2EE technologies to develop scalable enterprise grade applications, libraries, frameworks and performing service integration through APIs and webservices using Spring MVC, Rest/SOAP Webservices; and,</p></li><li><p>Designing and developing solution architectures to scale backend systems using Java, Oracle, Spring Boot and Rest specifications.</p></li></ul><p></p><p>If interested apply online at <a href="http://www.bankofamerica.com/careers" target="_blank">www.bankofamerica.com/careers</a> or email your resume to <a href="mailto:bofajobs@bofa.com" target="_blank">bofajobs@bofa.com</a> and reference the job title of the role and requisition number.</p><p></p><p><b>EMPLOYER: </b> Bank of America N.A.</p><p></p><p></p><p><b>Shift:</b></p>1st shift (United States of America)<p></p><p></p><p><b>Hours Per Week: </b></p>40</div>
